As “Krym.Realii” reported on May 12, with reference to the activists of the Crimean Solidarity, the aggressors’ punitives from the so-called “OMON” and the “police” carried out a criminal raid in the “Suvuk-dere” mosque in Simferopol.
“They arrived right at the time of Friday prayer,” eyewitnesses said. According to them, the raid in the mosque was carried out by “employees of the Center for Combating Extremism”, in the afternoon the punishers left the territory of the mosque. Let us recall that the “Suvuk-Dere” mosque was built for a long time with donations from Crimean Muslims before the occupation.
At the end of January 2023, the previous raid of the aggressor into this mosque was carried out, “according to the results” of which the “Crimean Muftiate”, controlled by the Russia’s special services, stated that allegedly “the imam was not appointed there. There, neither the land nor the building has been formalized and transferred to the spiritual administration of the Muslims of Crimea and Sevastopol. The community there is not organized in any way”.
Thus, the representatives of the “muftiate” recognized their role in initiating the “punishment of apostates”, which they had previously cynically declared in the aggressor’s propaganda.
