Since 2014, illegal structures of the so-called “Voluntary Society for Assistance to the Army, Aviation and Navy of Russia” (“DOSAAF”) have been “noted” in the occupied Crimea. In the first years of the occupation, the main forms of their activity were the criminal “development” of the property of Ukrainian public structures, as well as the organization of “commercial work” of invaders-controlled “driving schools”.
In preparation for a large-scale aggression and increased militarization of the peninsula since 2020, the occupiers have increased funding for the “republican DOSAAF”, including through the fake “government”. In 2022, this criminal activity, due to the obvious demands of the Kremlin, intensified, and this year the structure conducted criminal “military-patriotic gatherings” for the Crimean youth, and each “district department” received a separate “order” from above – radio direction finding, underwater swimming and so on.
Now the “Crimean DOSAAF” is criminally involved in the organization of the so-called “territorial defense” as a hidden component of the criminal “mobilization”, training “recruits” “off their job”.
It is noteworthy that the criminal “leaders” of this structure, Andrey Popov and Konstantin Alikin, recently in a propaganda interview were forced to state that they attract fewer people to this structure than Russian punishers demand from them, since in the occupied Crimea “it is impossible to give weapons to everyone in a row” and that “counterintelligence checks everyone”.
It should be noted that the collaborator Alikin, who had been “noted” in Saki since 2014, was “transferred” to this criminal activity in 2017 from the “position” of the fake “Deputy minister of education” of the Russian occupiers. At the same time, the occupiers appointed the Krasnoperekopsk collaborator Popov to “lead DOSAAF”, who then for a number of years “fruitfully mastered the funds” for the “reconstruction of public facilities” through affiliated companies.
In fact, these collaborators’ statements mean that the aggressor’s propaganda and its militaristic plans collided with the reality of the occupied peninsula, where the pro-Ukrainian sentiments of the population, especially of young people, turned out to be impossible to ignore.
Therefore, the majority of the “mobilized” Crimeans are considered by the occupiers exclusively as “cannon fodder” disloyal to the aggressor, whose death at the front, according to the criminal, genocidal plans of the aggressor, should occur under “special conditions”, that “must make insurance” against their rebellion or surrender.
