On October 17, our Association expert Borys Babin took part in the round table “Anti-colonial discourse in the modern scientific and media space of Ukraine as a prerequisite for the reintegration of Crimea”, held by the Taurida National University named after V. Vernadsky within the framework of the corresponding IV international scientific and practical conference and the Crimean Forum.
In his report, Professor Babin focused on practical forms of counteracting the illegal deportation and indoctrination of Ukrainian youth by the aggressor as international crimes and manifestations of modern Russian imperialism.
Among other things, the communications of our Association on this issue with relevant institutions and officials of the UN system were noted and the results of the reports of the ARC experts at the OSCE events were described.
Particular attention was paid to the issues of the practical dimension of compensation for damage caused to Ukrainian minors, with a discussion of the specifics of national criminal and civil cases, as well as the current state of the work of the relevant International Register of Damage.
