During permanent cooperation with UN bodies our Association sent the submission to Professor Morris Tidball-Binz, UN Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions, on issue of his next report on protection of dead persons and their human remains, including of victims of potentially unlawful killings.
ARC’s submission, prepared by Professor Borys Babin and published at UN web-sources now, reminded to UN Rapporteur that Russian “officials” and propagandists from Ukrainian collaborators in Simferopol and Melitopol like Talipov, Mardan and Evgen Balytsky directly confessed in 2022 and 2023 not only regarding tortures but also of killings against prisoners of war and pro-Ukrainian civil persons, also as against everybody who “discrediting the Russian army and the current government”.
Submission pointed that aggressor’s illegal “local administrations” on occupied territories of Ukraine including the Crimea, are participants of war crimes, including enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings. ARC’s submission added that Russian occupiers hide and destroy the victims’ bodies and do not allow access to the places of their possible burying to ICRC representatives.
Submission stressed, that a new wave of enforced disappearances and killings is expected during Russia’s preparations for illegal “presidential elections”, that will be organized in Russia-occupied territory in February-March 2024; as Russia-controlled structures promise to local Ukrainian population, especially in Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions, that persons who will refuse to participate in such “presidential elections” and to “vote for Putin”, “will disappear forever”.
Relevant information of Russsia-committed war crimes, connected with bloody scam of “Putin’s re-elections” and relevant provocations with “foreign observers” was also sent by ARC in February to all relevant international organisation and civilised nations’ governments and parliaments.
