As we wrote before, in framework of our Association’s sustainable cooperation with European Union’s structures ARC expert Olena Stadnik started since December 5 some meetings with deputies and other officials of European Parliament in Brussels discussing the key issues of de-occupation and reintegration of the Crimean peninsula.
On December 7th Crimean agenda was discussed on meeting with Helmut Geuking, member of Parliament, Committee on Employment and Social Affairs and Delegation to the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Association Committee, with Viktoriya Petrikova-Voeten, European Commission’s officer on Strategic External Policy Issues, with Sophie Lutz from Parliament’s Youth Outreach Unit, with Katarina Albrechtova, Parliament’s officer for European Economic and Social Committee.
Expert Stadnik described to EU officials our Association’s activities including counteraction of Russian intrernational crimes against Ukrainian youth, indigenous peoples’ representatives and against ecosystems. Issues of reintegration the Crimea in conditions of European internation of Ukraine in whole were discussed and role of European Parliament in such processes was clarified, including issues of transparent international aid transfer.
