In framework of our Association’s sustainable cooperation with European Union’s structures ARC expert Olena Stadnik held since December 5 some meetings with deputies and other officials of European Parliament in Brussels discussing the actual issues of de-occupation and reintegration of the Crimean peninsula.
Crimean agenda was discussed on meeting with Witold Jan Waszczykowski, Chair of the Delegation to the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Association Committee, Róża von Thun und Hohenstein, member of Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection, also as with Tessel Dian Giele, Lucio Mastrosimone and Levente Csaszi, advisors of European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs, with Dr. Markus Prutsch, researcher and administrator of European Parliament’s Committee on Culture and Education, also as with Sahra Lissek, Friedrich Naumann Foundation’s European Affairs Manager.
Expert Stadnik reminded the European Parliament’s representatives on Russia’s ongoing provocations in European countries, including hate speech and fakes’ dissemination, on the aggressor’s attempts to avoid EU sanctions and she described relevant Crimea-related negative examples fixed by our Association.
ARC’s expert described to EP’s colleagues also the Association’s achievements and results of strategic forums “Future of Crimea”, including proposals for institutional enforcement the International Crimean Platform, on new challenges for international organisation future missions on the de-occupied territories, on duties to organise mass pupils’ and students’ relocation from the de-occupied territories to European institutions and regarding special migrational and property registers to be created for reintegration before the deoccupation will start.
