As we wrote earlier ARC’s expert Olena Stadnik took active part in discussions of World for Ukraine (W4UA) Summit in Polish Rzeszow-Jasionka and at September 29 such dialogue continued at Summit’s panels “Disinformation Warfare – Lessons Learned, Current Landscape and New Technologies” and “Understanding War Fatigue – How to Keep the World Engaged in Ukraine”.
ARC’s expert initiated Summit’s work regarding issues of counteraction Russian propaganda in the Crimea and reminded example of the criminal “Crimean speaker” Vladimir Konstantinov has now been “marked” with regular Nazi statements against Jews, Poles and Germans, declaring that allegedly German nation “has no right to exist” and now fabricating the fake “trial regarding damage of Ukraine’s water blockade” in Crimea for disinformation purposes.
Also the crimes of so-called “bloggers” acting under control of aggressor’s punitive structures in repressions against Ukrainian activists, freedom of media, speech and associations in the Crimea were reminded by Stadnik. Summit’s speakers confirmed that Ukraine’s governmental and civil society efforts to disseminate truth about situation in the Crimea and to counteract Russian disinformation make issue of peninsula a genuine part of world’s agenda; next cooperation of our Association with W4UA Summit experts will be continued.
