On June, 26 our Association’s expert Olesia Tsybulko reported in Vienna at OSCE Supplementary Human Dimension Meeting “The Role of Civil Society in the Promotion and Protection of Tolerance and Non-Discrimination”.

Expert spoke about the situation in the occupied territories of Ukraine, including Crimea, where so-called aggressor’s “bloggers” and “media” promote hatred of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars, which is one of the tools of Russia’s war against Ukraine.

Tsybulko reminded that after 2020 our Association sent more than 100 submissions and proposals to UN and other international human rights’ strictures, major part of them were published in the relevant web-sources, including the issues of counteraction racial discrimination.

Expert pointed on case of criminal “Crimean blogger” Alexander Talipov, who used hate speech also against authorities and civil society of other OSCE participating states, including France, and our Association’s expert professor Borys Babin informed on this issue the competent European Commission’s structures and OSCE officials.

ARC’s representative also pointed that Association’s expert Olexii Plotnikov prepared experts’ opinions upon request of Ukrainian prosecutor offices in criminal proceedings on issues of discriminative repressions against peaceful assemblies in Russia-occupied part of Kherson Region in 2022 and on issues of discriminative deportation of Ukrainian population from Kherson Region to Russia and Russia-occupied Crimea.

As relevant allowance was granted to ARC from prosecutors’ office, expert presented to OSCE conference participants texts of pointed opinions, describing relevant Russia-committed war crimes, which also had character of discrimination.
