Ukraine’s First Deputy Foreign Minister Emine Dzheppar met with the EU Ambassador to Ukraine MattiMaasikas to discuss, in particular, the situation in Russia-annexed Crimea, the MFA press officereports.
‘Emine Dzheppar informed the EU Ambassador about security policy and humanitarian situation inRussia-occupied Crimea. She thanked the EU for the consistency in non-recognition of illegalreferendum on Russia’s constitutional amendments held in Crimea and called on the EU to imposesanctions on the organisers thereof’, the MFA informs.
The parties also discussed the EU-Ukraine summit to take place in Brussels in October this year.
