Since the summer of 2024, some “updates” have occurred in the criminal schemes for the export of grain from the occupied mainland through the Crimean ports by the Russian inviders.
In particular, the collaborator from Zaporizhzhia, Serhiy Kiva, has become the “leader” of the illegal “monopolist” in this area, the “Kherson Grain Company”, which has seized eight elevators in the region.
Let us recall that the occupiers allow collaborators to export grain from the Kherson region only through the “Kherson Grain Company” and via one “modestly silent” Sevastopol intermediary operating the “Aval” terminal, known until 2014 as “Avlita” from Rinat Akhmetov.
Kiva received the status of a Russian entrepreneur in 2024 in Krasnodar, and having arrived in occupied Henichesk to “perform duties”, he immediately began to develop vigorous propaganda activities.
Among other things, he was sent in October to the Moscow “Yalta International Forum” described by us, and for a month now the aggressor’s propaganda has been broadcasting his statements that allegedly “seven countries friendly to Russia have shown interest in purchasing food wheat from the Kherson region, three contracts may be signed in the near future.”
At the same time, Kiva recently stated that “the first ship with export grain from the Kherson region is planned to be shipped before 2024.”
Naturally, the occupiers have been exporting Kherson grain by sea for the past two years, but at the same time, its origin, as a rule, was disguised. In addition, it has now been stated that when exporting grain, “the grain operator … refused state subsidies.” Now, obviously, the occupiers are counting on the “official shipment” of stolen grain, which, among other things, their representatives announced at the scandalous “side event” of the aggressor at the UN Climate Change Conference in Baku.
And therefore it is worth dwelling in more detail on the personality of Sergey Kiva. It should be noted that in the Ukrainian registers he is listed as the beneficiary of the Kyiv company “KAS Company”, listed in the house of mass registration on Saksaganskogo St., and specializing in wholesale trade, including agricultural products.
Kiva is also the director and co-owner of the Kyiv employment company “Karera Plus” (“Work Hunter”) with such co-owners as Kirill Kaftanik and Roman Shchiglo. Kiva was also listed as the director of the Kyiv company “Grona Plus” of a certain Andrey Khristan.
At the same time, back in 2018-2019, Kiva bragged on social networks about working for the structure “Shaanxi Sonmax Import/export And Trade Co., Ltd”, which, among other things, was invited by the Chinese authorities to the opening of the industrial park “Silk Road” in Shaanxi Province.
This company is registered in China with a statutory capital of 5 million yuan. And in Kyiv, there is a firm “Sonmax Company”, on the website of which the founder of this group of companies is stated to be the same Kirill Kaftannik, recorded as the founder of the structures “Sonmax Global Ukraine” and Zaporizhzhia “Sonmax”.
Of course, these facts should receive a detailed assessment of both law enforcement agencies and structures monitoring the sanctions policy.
