The end of the “electoral process” in occupied Sevastopol led to a rather characteristic embarrassment of the local propaganda, which decided to praise the “radical changes” of the illegal “legislative assembly”, where “out of 24 deputies of the previous convocation” “only eight people” remained.
We have long described the real reasons for this show: this is a carte blanche from the Kremlin to gauleiter Mikhail Razvozhaev to “form a team” from “United Russia” in manual mode, as well as the “self-recusal” of the Chalykh clan and the “defatting” of the city’s communists.
But since the propaganda decided to link the “new faces” not with reality, but with alleged “political dynamics in the public mood of Sevastopol residents”, it turned out traditionally tragicomic.
The local “media” stated that “the townspeople have not yet had time to get acquainted with the new faces of the legislative assembly” and that “the new deputies still have to work on their recognition”.
As the townspeople sarcastically noted on this matter, “it turns out to be interesting”, since “we were supposed to elect people we knew”, but “it turns out that we don’t even know the people” who were supposedly “elected”, “and only now we have to find out who they are”.
Also regarding these anonymous “deputies”, it is stated: “why should they fight for sympathy if they will be “elected” the same way next time?”, emphasizing that the “deputies” declared to be “unknown “new Sevastopol residents” who do not represent the interests of the city’s residents at all”.
The city residents also write that on the website of the fake “legislative assembly” “more than half of the newly elected people still haven’t even posted their biographies – they don’t really want to be recognized”, stating that “there is no point in expecting anything good from these “elected people”, and succinctly describing this “club of anonymous deputies” as a “chanson parade”.
