As the invaders-controlled “entrepreneurs” are forced to admit, in the occupied Crimea, prices for housing rentals have noticeably decreased, “both for long-term rental housing and for daily rent.”
For example, the words of the “Simferopol realtor” Svetlana Yermachkova are broadcast that “More and more new objects are released. People who rented housing are gradually moving out, leaving the Crimea. There are fewer people who want to go.”

Another “realtor”, Svetlana Romanova, admits that people who moved from the hostilities zone in Kherson Region in 2022 rent little housing on the occupied peninsula, and that this “flow of migrants” did not really affect prices, which “fell by about 5 thousand”.

“Online booking manager” Ruslan Kalimullin is also quoted as saying that “there are few applications and bookings now. The reasons are obvious…the prospects are unclear”, while “there is a limit to how much prices can be reduced. I would say that in some cases there is simply nowhere else to go. ”

At the same time, Kalimullin cites “statistics of rental ads” in which the number of offers for the peninsula with a “price above the median” has decreased significantly. It can be stated that the collapse of the “housing rental sector” as the most “small” and at the same time “mass business” will maximally worsen the real economic situation on the occupied peninsula.
