From November 13 to 15, our Association’s expert Borys Babin conducted trainings on victims of Russian aggression and temporarily occupied territories for participants of the youth camp “Youth GO”.
The camp was held in Mygiya, Mykolaiv region, by the public organization “The Tenth of April” with the support of the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine and brought together representatives of more than 15 local non-governmental organizations in frontline and partially occupied regions of Ukraine.
The goal of the event was to provide young leaders working in public organizations with a set of practical knowledge and skills in the field of digital tools, communications, mediation, debates, negotiations and self-presentation.
Participants will be able to integrate the acquired experience into the work of their own organizations, strengthening the institutional capacity of their teams, contributing to the implementation of modern approaches in the public sector and improving the quality of implementation of local and national initiatives.
During the trainings, Professor Babin shared the achievements of our Association on issues of assistance to victims of Russian aggression, the population of the occupied territories, including Crimea, and discussed the interim results of another project of the organization “The Tenth of April”, namely “Voices of Vitnesses – Stories for Justice” in the southern regions of Ukraine, regarding the documentation of victims of Russian war crimes.
The ARC expert also exchanged views with the participants of the training on relevant potential strategies and projects of local organizations in front-line regions, in particular within the framework of information and analytical activities and interaction with international structures and Ukrainian authorities.
