The aggressor-controlled “Sevastopol media” tried to “spread rejoicing” regarding the Kremlin dictator’s statement on March 18 that “the railway from Rostov to Donetsk, Mariupol and Berdyansk had allegedly been restored. We will continue this work and soon trains will go straight to Sevastopol. And this will be another alternative road instead of the Crimean Bridge”.
However, this time too, Putin predictably lied: the occupiers did not build any “new railway” to Berdyansk, and they did not “renew” the old “front-line” one. In fact, we are talking about the completion of the “bypass route” around Volnovakha, from Donetsk to Mariupol, which analysts have written about many times, based on satellite images.
Therefore, when collaborators do not hesitate to declare that allegedly “tourists are already rushing to book vacations in Crimea, planning to spend their summer holidays on the peninsula”, then it is worth clarifying that “tickets” for this criminal tour will be issued to them at the aggressor’s military registration offices.
It is noteworthy that already on March 19, the obvious fake from Putin began to be “smoothed out” by the occupiers themselves, promising that “the railway from Rostov-on-Don to Crimea… will begin to operate fully before the end of 2024.” The criminal “railroads of Novorossiya”, about the scams in which we have repeatedly written, reported that the invaders “paved a section of 63 km and restored 140 km of tracks” which clearly concerns the “bypass” of Volnovakha.
Judging by the “optimistic” dates, either the “Volnovakha arc” will all end, and military cargo, as before, will go to Melitopol through Kamysh-Zorya and Rozovka, or the current figures are a deliberate fake, designed solely to “muffle” the railway “revelations” of the Kremlin dictator.
