In framework of permanent cooperation with UN bodies and regarding call of Professor Siobhán Mullally the Special Rapporteur on trafficking in persons, especially women and children for her report to the 53th session of the Human Rights Council, our Association sent in 2023 relevant submission regarding access to international protection of victims of trafficking in persons, published on UN web-sources in April.
Association took to consideration the UN Rapporteur’s proposal to inform her on issues of prevention of trafficking among refugees, IDPs and stateless persons in conflict situations and informed Professor Mullally on Russia’s illegal deportation of Ukrainian children with usage of Crimean camps for their concentration.
Our Association proposed to UN Special Rapporteur to take active part in relevant investigation and judicial proceedings and to make relevant observation procedures and visits to Ukraine.
ARC stressed in submission, prepared by Professor Borys Babin that UN Rapporteur’s steps must counteract the gross human rights violations committed by Russian troops in Ukraine such as illegal deportation of Ukrainian children.
