As the Russian occupiers are forced to admit, in Sevastopol, despite the long-term constant population growth due to the massive criminal migration of Russians to the city, the birth rate continues to decline. According to the illegal “Krymstat”, in the first two months of 2023, 542 children were born in the city, which is 84 newborns less than in the same period last year.
At the same time, the decline in the birth rate lasts for a long time – according to the Russian invaders, in 2022, 3988 children were born in the city, which is 246 newborns less than in 2021, 237 children less than in 2020 and 279 less than in 2019.
Thus, it is obvious that large-scale Russian aggression has an extremely negative impact on the demography of the occupied territories, and at the same time, the aggressor is taking criminal measures to “improve” the situation by deporting children from the occupied mainland south of Ukraine to Russia and to the occupied peninsula.
